About BOML Container Freight Station
The BOML Container Freight Station (CFS), is an off-dock Container Freight Station/Mini Port Facility located in the immediate vicinity of dockside container terminals at West Wharf Karachi Port.
The facility is a IT integrated Customs bonded freight station and warehouse service provider for exporters, importers, freight forwarders and shipping companies who require to consolidate shipments for exports or to de-stuff containers for onward distribution in the case of imports. It operates on a 24 hours basis with a full-fledged IT and communications infrastructure, integrated with dockside terminal operations, shipping lines and Pakistan Customs. The facility provides internationally compatible standards of services in cargo management for exporters, importers and shipping companies, retaining multiple warehouses with plinth delivery and shelving systems.
The operations are overseen by a professional management team and an experienced workforce. Emphasis is on providing customer services and efficient handling of all types of cargoes in a secure environment. The facility retains transport and logistics capabilities for transit movements between the facility and dockside terminals. These transport services are also able to provide for inland deliveries and haulage for exports under the facility’s licensed arrangements with Pakistan Customs.

Import and Export cargo, LCL storage & handling, Logistics, stuffing & de-stuffing, delivery, weighment, documentation and cargo tracking. In addition there are canine services, Customs examination and appraisement.

Equipment:
CFS is a fully equipped facility for cargo handling, security and safety. This includes goods elevators, 100 Mton weighbridge, fork lifts, stackers, parcel cargo weighing scales, dual electric generator system, UPS, computerized documentation, shelving, fully integrated fire fighting hydrants and smoke detector system, close circuit security cameras (CCTV), fiber optic communication links, public address system, hazardous cargo storage area and strong rooms. Haulage, lift on and lift off services are provided on a 24 hours basis.

Terminals:
All West Wharf dockside container terminals are accessible from CFS as well as East Wharf dockside terminals at Karachi Port and is also authorized for handling containers to and from Port Qasim Container Terminals. The facility is located close to Mauripur Road,
which provides easy access to the Northern Bypass and the Lyari Express way.

The company retains Non CFS Warehousing for general cargo at its Burma Soap Facilities and
bulk yards for handling bulk minerals. These facilities stores general cargo, vehicles, timber, iron and steel products. |
